Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit with Light Dimmer
This ceiling fan remote control kit with light dimmer works most major 110V 3-speeds AC ceiling fans, compatible with Harbor Breeze, Allen Roth, Kichler, Hunter, Hampton Bay, Honeywell, Home Decorators Collection, Litex and other ceiling fan brands.
The green luminous button is for dimming, this button is made of fluorescent material, it can help you find the remote control in the dark.
This ceiling fan and light remote control kit has the function of dimming.
The light dimmer compatible with incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lamps.
Most LED lights and all CFL lights are non-dimmable, light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in this case, and it may cause to flicker when using the dimming function.
This item does not include a 9V battery.

This remote controller is designed for 3-speed ceiling fan to separately control your ceiling fan speed and light brightness. This RC-53T remote control have HI/MED/LO 3-speed and OFF for fan speed control.
Please note that this remote not have the Reverse button.
LIGHT/DIMMER button just controls the brightness of halogen and incandescent lamps .On/Off/Dimming, it also compatible with some dimmable LED lights. Most LED lights and all CFL lights are Not Dimmable, and the remote only control the On/Off in that case.
Easy to Set Up the Remote Control
1. Setting the same codes on the transmitter and the receiver.
2. 16 different frequencies that can be set for the receiver and the transmitter.
3. The default setting is 0000, and it is not recommended.
Tips: Remote control's 4 DIP switches are in the battery compartment (they are hidden behind the slot for the battery itself).
NOTE
1. If you have PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together.
2. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, please make sure that the PIN code settings are different between them, otherwise it is likely that the transmitter next door activates the ceiling fan in your bedroom. This will cause the ceiling fan to turn on strangely while you sleep.
Easy to Install
1. Remove ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket
NOTE: Remove power from the circuit.Otherwise power can cause serious injury or death.

Disconnect existing wiring between ceiling fan and supply in electrical junction box
2. Setting same the codes on the remote control and receiver
NOTE: The code used by the transmitter and receiver must be exactly the same, otherwise remote controller will not work.
16 different frequencies that can be set for the receiver and the transmitter.
The default settings is 0000, and it is not recommended.
3. Installing receiver in ceiling fan
WARNING: Remove power from the circuit. The electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code requirements. The electrical source and fan must be 110~120 volt, 60Hz.
The receiver wires are labelled, and the wires all have the correct color codes. Make connections as follows, using the wire nuts suppliied.
4. Install a 9V battery
Install a 9V battery (NOT INCLUDE in the Package) in the remote, and you can control your fan now.

I bought this to replace my failed Hunter receiver. That receiver had an issue where the light would turn on when power was applied. This was annoying whenever a momentary power failure happened at night and I would be awoken whenever the power returned. Some might call this a feature. In any case, this remote does the same thing.This new receiver/remote combo works fine. The fan speeds work property and so does the light. There is almost a one second delay from the time the button is pressed, but I can live with that. Minus one star because the remote is bulky and ugly. The older Hunter remote transmitted at 350MHz while this new one uses 300MHz, so I could not re-use my old remote.

Purchased a Harbor Breeze light with 1 fan on each side from Lowes. It was the only one like it's kind and I wanted to put it in a double roof gazebo. With some help.from the electrician, he was able to put this remote in to the top ring and it works perfectly! Highly recommend!

I bought 2 for a ceiling fan in our living room and another in our bedroom.1 fan is a Harbor Breeze, the other Hampton Bay. These remote kits were compatible with both and solved our problem. We paid an electrician to install them. He charged us $200. I am very happy with the remote kits!

This review is for "53T Fan Remote Kit". There's nothing spectacular about this light/fan remote control kit. It has the same functionality as pretty much every light/fan remote control kit I've seen. It has high/medium/low/off fan control buttons. It has one green button for light on/off and brightness control. If the light button is pressed briefly, it toggles between on and off. If the light button is held, it adjusts the light brightness – the light slowly ramps up/down from the current brightness until the button is released, and the brightness when the button is released becomes the new brightness. The whole time the green light button is held pressed, the light brightness slowly ramps up/down between maximum and minimum brightness.The remote plastic housing and buttons are nice colors, very closely matching the picture in the item ad. The remote seems to be fairly well made. It uses a standard 9V battery (not included). The button action is fine, and the buttons do what they are supposed to do.
