The bracket I received was a cheap substitute with a single plate and steel U-bots, not half the strength of the listed photo design., that is a heavy duty, formed 2-part bracket assembled with straight bolts that cannot touch the pole. No link to contact seller so 0 stars so far for customer service. Maybe this bad review will get a response - we'll see

Wanted to install a dual band antenna on my new RV, but couldn’t find a place to put a mount. After doing a lot of research, I decided on this mount. It’s strong and easy to install on my ladder. I run a short antenna on it right now, but have to tune it. As it is, the signal is great. For the money, you can’t beat this.

Thought the Antenna I had used an NMO mount so I was really disappointed in myself after realizing I bought the wrong thing or at least the connection is wrong. Fortunately I had a rack mountable PL259 female to female connector on hand and the diameter of the connector fit through the hole in the mounting bracket. I just used a bit of JB Weld to hold it in place and added a small 1/8 inch plastic washer to the other side and connected the antenna. So even though I ordered the wrong part I still got to use it for what it was intended for using on hand parts. The only other thing I had to get was some shorter bolts. They give you 1/4 x 4 inch long hex bolts. I mounted this on a pack style mobile radio built out of 1/2 inch PVC pipe so I bought 1 1/2 inch hex bolts along with 4 nylon insert nuts so I wouldnt have to use lock washers. I had a few flat washers on hand and my antenna is now mounted to my portable HAM Radio Pack. I can give any other details on how well it works as Im still waitiing on a battery that I ordered but when I had previoulsly tested this by holding the antenna I could reach out about 1 mile.

Other similar products are designed so the antenna can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the post/mirror. This design ONLY allows horizontal post alignment. Because of the rectangular plate (rather than square) it can not be modified. I need the plate to fit vertically.

This is exactly what I needed to mount my VHF antenna and use the existing cb antenna wire on my 2025 Kenworth W900L. Good quality mirror mount. Saved me from fishing wires through the headliner.

First time I used it , it stripped out it's just cheap it's not very well constructed at all the hardware is horrible it's not good but then again what do you expect for under 20 bucks...
