Works exactly as intended with a driver install. The picture came up easily on my monitor, and it's a good value.

This adapter is an easy way to add an HDMI video output to a Windows computer. I tested it on a newer Beelink SEi12 mini-PC, and on an older Dell Venue 11 Pro 7140 convertible tablet/laptop. The Dell pre-dates USB-C and the USB ports are only USB-2. This adapter worked great on both PCs. Both systems are running Windows 11.The adapter initially acts as a USB flash drive, containing the required Windows driver. The driver started installing automatically on the Dell. I had o navigate to the folder on the Beelink and start it manually. A reboot is required after the driver installs. After that, a second HDMI display connects automatically with a clean, flawless image.This a an excellent and inexpensive way to add a video output if you need one. A definite five-star item for me.
