I'm not super techy so i was expecting a huge learning curve, but it was fairly simple with some YouTube help. I had some very old videos that had been transferred over to VHS probably30 years ago and now they are on my laptop and a flash-drive. I used VideoPad software to edit out the awkward start and stop of the VCR and get them formatted to MP4. I'm a happy camper!

This is the only converter that's been successful at helping me digitize old VHS tapes. All other converters I've tried have made them black and white or flickering or added lots of lines. The image quality using this converter is as good as watching the tapes with a VHS player. It is very easy to use, it didn't require any setup.

This product does just as advertised. After unsuccessfully trying (and returning) several other products that did not function with ease, this digitizer worked flawlessly with no problems. I highly recommend this CLLGrocery Video Capture device for VHS to USB2 PC videos.

This device made it super easy to convert my family VHS tapes to digital. Directions were straightforward and I was able to use QuickTime on Mac to record the videos.

Amazing, I’m so glad, it works flawlessly with OBS and I’ve been able to transfer all the family vhs tapes over the past few days.

I suppose I should have seen the warning signs when I saw that this is a USB 2.0 device that comes with a CD. Think back to the last time your laptop had a CD drive and you'll know what I mean.I got this because I have some old VHS tapes I'm desperate to digitize to video. I plugged the RCA plugs into the back of my old VCR and plugged the USB plug into my Mac using a USB-A to USB-C converter..The little blue light went on, which I thought was a good sign. But then, nothing. OBS wouldn't recognize it, QuickTime wouldn't recognize it, VLC wouldn't recognize it.I went to my System Settings and sure enough, no matter how many times I plugged this in my Mac wouldn't even see it. And of course, I had no place to put the mini CD (not that it would have worked anyway) and no online resources for me to download any kind of drivers.I suppose if I had an older laptop or PC then maybe it would work. I guess it was hopeful thinking when I saw MAC as a supported device that it would support newer ones. That's definitely not the case for me.

Works great for converting the old videos from my camcorder to digital files on my computer. It is a little time-consuming, but I have a lot of video footage to go through and convert. I'm just happy there's an option to do this so the old tapes don't have to sit in the closet any longer.

The item I received was clearly not new. Its 2 sides were taped together and 1 side was cracked.
