I’ve never had a weed torch so I picked this one up to experiment with. Seems to work good. The end seems smaller than others I’ve seen, possibly it would use less propane but I’m not sure since I’ve not used another. Should get some good use from this, there’s always going to be weeds somewhere.

I think this is such a great product! My other weed torch only connected to large tanks, so I had to lug a big tank around with me while I did my yard chores. This one is much more convenient and portable. It's very well made and is extremely effective. Great price! I highly recommend it.

This is a great tool to get a flame where you need it without having to bend down and strain your back. The handle is rubberized with finger grooves and feels good in hand to give a lot ot control. The rest of the unit is metal that feels solid and well-constructed. You can ignite the torch via button about halfway down the shaft (no need to use a flint igniter). It works fine for getting rid of all the weeds that sprout up between concrete slabs, as well as killing mold on non-flammable surfaces. The Gagiter Weed Torch gives your propane torch longer reach, an ergonomic handle, and button ignition all at a good value.

I had visions of taming my weeds by baptizing them with fire and being a sort of dark lord of the flower beds, ruling over weedy intruders with a blistering fist of smoke and ruin. Turns out weeds are pretty wet and don’t burn up easily or dramatically. On the one hand, that’s great because it’s easy to stamp out all of the little fires you will inevitably start up all over the yard. On the other hand, it’s kind of lame. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still cool having a little flame thrower in the garage and I’m looking forward to using it to start fires in the fire pit when the weather cools down, but it’s really not that great for weeds. It would be quicker and easier (and less stressful) to just pull them by hand.

This looks a little odd in the pictures, but it actually works very well and the design makes sense once you have it in your hand and start using it.I did have some issues screwing this onto a 1lb bottle, but it could have been the threads on that were a little beat up from moving between different other devices I've been testing. I'll update this if I find issues with my refillable flame king bottles. This puts out a lot of heat and I was using it to burn some weeds that had started growing in our paver driveway. This did the trick and is a lot easier to handle than the one I have that runs off a 20lb tank. The ignitor worked each of the times I tested it, and the torch puts out a lot of heat. I could see using this to start charcoal in my Weber kettle grill. It's small enough that it might start coming camping for getting stuff going there.Item Reviewed:Weed Torch Propane Burner,100,000 BTU Blow Torch Weed Burner, Flamethrower with Self Igniting and Ergonomic Anti-slip Rubber Handle for Weeding, Melt Ice,Charcoal Starter,Cooking(Fuel Not Included)Weed Torch Propane Burner,100,000 BTU Blow Torch Weed Burner, Flamethrower with Self Igniting and Ergonomic Anti-slip Rubber Handle for Weeding, Melt Ice,Charcoal Starter,Cooking(Fuel Not Included)

This review will be a two parter -- the first part will relate to the product. The second part will relate to the use of the product. So, first things first. The burner that I received is well constructed. Using it is very straight-forward. Attach a propane canister. Open the valve a bit (you will hear propane flowing). Hit the igniter and, voom, you are off to the races. The burner is well balanced and easy to handle. The flame is easy to adjust and it shuts off easily too. (There will be a short period of flame while the residual propane burns off.) The burner burns really hot and will carbonize weeds in no time. All as advertised! It works very well (perhaps a little too well...and now we come to part 2).While testing the burner, I lit up a weed and in the process, I also set off some duff nearby the weed This was very dry fuel so it started to burn instantly. I was able to put it out quickly by stomping in it, but once I had done so, I took a moment to ponder. It was close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. We haven't rain in a while so everything is bone dry. And there was a bit of a breeze. Hmmm! Perhaps this was not the best time to be testing this burner! Images of a stray spark or combustible material wafting across the street to a fuel rich area flashed through my brain. I do not want to be "that guy" that set off a wild fire and burned down my neighborhood. So, no more weeds will burn today! This burner will get more use, but not until conditions are more favorable for safe use. For what it is worth, the instructions do say to keep a fire extinguisher nearby while using this burner. I think this is very good advice. Having a hose available might also be a good idea. The bottom line here is that when you use this burner, use it safely and prudently. Don't be "that guy"...

I have a big torch that uses a full size LP BBQ tank that is a beast and will scorch earth like a dragon from Game of Thrones, but it's too intense and too heavy to lug around the yard. I prefer burning weeds to spraying Round-Up, so I was excited to try a smaller, easy to use one-handed torch. It works well and is very easy to use with a standard Coleman tank. It ignited with a click of the intergrated button. However, when I really crank it up high, it seems to blow itself out. I found the highest setting that I can use continuously, but it took a long time to cover my entire gravel driveway to burn out all the weeds and dead leaves. I'm still thrilled with it, but maybe I'm doing something wrong because I can't turn it up to 100% without blowing itself out. I was able to weed all of my yard and driveway and didn't even finish a tank of fuel. It is also kind of fun I'll admit.
