My kids accidentally tipped it over and a fitting snapped. I get it, our fault but it didn’t fall, just tipped over. I didn’t think it was a big deal and thought I’d just run to the hardware store and get a new fitting. It’s not NPT or US fitting size that I can find. I thought I figured out what it probably was and emailed support to confirm. They were unhelpful in telling me the fitting size and instead gave me some weird answer where I believe they just measured the fitting with a caliper… thanks, I could have done that.I’ll just chalk it up as junk and buy a better product.

This torch is a game changer for me I use it mainly for burning weeds and it doesn't disappoint.

After very little use, this fails to ignite most of the time. When it rarely does, it will be extinguished when boost mode is attempted. It is now useless. Before I had the problem, I bought another as a spare. I hope this one does not go the same way! How do I claim for a replacement?

First Weedburner had a leak, fairly bad one and the delivery looked perfect, boxes had no damage. I think a cross threaded pipe off the production line or something of the like. Did the soapy water test, tried to tighten a nut seemed to make it worse. Sent it back requesting a replacement. Got that in 3 days, perfect out of the box and there are some crispy weeds between the rocks on the walk. This is propane, test it carefully and if it tests good.. enjoy crisping up those annoying weeds. I'd buy this again.

It’s a flame thrower, pretty much. Attaches directly to small 1lb propane tanks (Coleman), but is not compatible with large tanks as is and would require adapter(s).Good build quality. Piezo ignition works well. Once lit, just squeeze the handle to produce useable flame. Its length is a good balance to maintain good control and still not have to bend much to apply flame at ground level. I am 6’1” tall. Someone a bit shorter may find it just right while someone taller may find it annoyingly short.Excellent for starting campfires in minimal time in less than ideal conditions. Great for weeds growing in pavement cracks, heating certain car parts and whatever else you need to get very hot very quickly. I’ve not had an opportunity to use the torch on ice/snow.Negative things to mention: 1lb fuel tank sacrifices working time for mobility and ease-of-use. When trigger happy a 1lb tank can be used up in under 15 minutes. More importantly, and the biggest problem I see with this type of torch, is the ability to stay lit in windy conditions is virtually nonexistent. If there is any sort of steady breeze rolling outside, best not use the torch at all or be taxed with constantly reigniting.Overall it’s a cool thing to have around, not to mention fun and satisfying. As always, be safe. This is not a toy. Always keep the flame pointed in a safe direction away from people, pets and flammable materials.

This thing packs some serious heat compared to the one I had previously which I think will make it significantly more effective. Seems very well made and straightforward to use.
