Recently install these all over my house. Works perfectly fine. The only thing I will say is , it’s a lil hard to install and flimsy.

Overall the product looks great and is very sturdy. However, our door jamb is about 5/8" higher at the surface making the door and door jamb uneven. It can't be installed easily if you have a door and door frame that are not level/even. If so, it requires a spacer.I saw some older reviews that the product once came with a spacer, but my order did not. That's the only drawback as it requires a spacer with a door and door frame that are not level. So I cut a spacer out of plywood and stained it, making it level with the door jamb, and used much longer screws. After that, it installed easily and looks great.

This item was exactly what I was looking for & as described & pictured. However, installation instructions would have been nice for those of us that aren't handy :). Realized after the fact that I could have referred back to product pic. OH well, we worked it out & it is serving it’s intended purpose.

The picture clearly shows very light gold colour but in real life these are almost rose gold. Unfortunately that didn’t match the door knobs and locks so I had to return it

I ordered a set of 4 Swing Bar door latches. They look and feel sturdy, and are easy to install. I did not like the small screws that are supplied with the Swing Bars and changed them out with #10 x 1-5/8" wood screws.To install these swing bars correctly the door and door frame must be flush or close to flush, otherwise the swing bar will not latch.Review for: WellMade Swing Bar Door Lock Latch,Door Security Latch for Kids Safety and Home Security, Reinforcement Door Latch Guard Clasp（Oil Rubbed Bronze，4 Pack)
