Door is wide enough for an adult and fits skirting well. I did have it installed. I saw reviews that said the door was flimsy but it is the same material as vinyl skirting and holds up the same. I like the locking feature, the fact that the whole door lifts out and I can now reach the water cutoff without having to try and pull out skirting panels.

Easy to install just needed a drill and a couple of screws with nut bolt to fastenit to the underpinning in my case.

After watching plumbers try to find the water shut-off valve under my mobile home in the ice and snow on a very cold day, I knew that there had to be a better way!I was so glad to have found this access door, but I will say that it takes skill to install properly. I hired a contractor to install it and repair the rest of my skirting. Money well spent as we will not have to rip skirting panels off my home any longer to close the shut off valve. No guessing at the location now as the access door makes it easy to spot, and no more damaged panels from being forced in winter months!

Yes it's a little pricey but the ease of access makes it worth the money. It's very sturdy construction and easy to install even with existing structure you just have to be able to trim some panels slides right in and a couple of screws and your done. It's of the correct width to replace two panels.

corner of the box came damaged , and the corner of the frame came bend over , send pictures back and nobody cared
