So the product is as advertised, too loud.I don't understand why these devices don't have a volume control, or why the selling point is the hearing-damaging decibel levels.Successfully placed a 10K ohm resistor between the power and the speaker and now it's still loud but won't cause permanent hearing damage.I also think the sensitivity, even on high, is too low for my purposes. Maybe if the glass breaks and falls to the floor the thing will go off, but we'll see.

These window alarms are excellent. We have an older home with a few basement windows. I installed one alarm on every window.Pros: good size, warning sticker and light alert that the windows are alarmed (and the light means you know if the batteries have power), can be placed anywhere, on-off switch, easy battery access, extreeeeeeemely loud (my cat set one off - it could be heard outside, throughout the house, and was so loud that I could barely think even with ears covered to go switch it off and back on), sensitive.Cons: unknown as to whether they can be removed and reused due to the sticker attachment. It would be nice if 3 were included per alarm.Highly recommend as an extremely easy, affordable, and quick security update. Anyone can install them.

I use these on all my windows and storm doors, they are not too large, but are effective at notifying you if anyone tampers with your windows/doors. They only require 2 triple A batteries for each unit.

I like these very much, they have high / low sensitivity switch and off switch. I test them before they get glued to windows by dropping them slightly on a pillow. The red light is also an excellent feature and deterrent to burglars. Great for adding an extra layer of security to your existing system if you have one. I have only used 2 so far but will comment again. Use ear plugs if you are testing them because they are loud. Thank You.

They do work especially if I open the patio door and forget to turn it off! The flashing light is hopefully a deterrent and the sticker on the back that goes against st the wi down another warning. Highly recommended
