First one I ordered did not work so great, the tips were diffent diameters and made it hard to remove parts. The second one works great as it should with no issues.

The tips cross over each other when pressing the tweezers closed.In addition, the tips are rounded at the ends and point slightly outward.Very difficult to remove surface components with this tool.

Unit is not the greatest. I find it does not melt solder very well. Can’t seem to get I hot enough. Simple to use but takes forever to heat up an SMD for removal.
