I got this specifically to hold chopsticks in the dishwasher and to prevent them from falling through the utensil holder. The stainless steel wires actually hold the chopsticks intact, and hook over the lower rack of my dishwasher.There’s not much to not like about this product as you get too sizes, a shorter one about the size of a standard coffee mug, and the taller one for longer utensils.I take off a star as I can tell it’s not super precision consistency in terms of the welding and joints and construction, however, it will definitely hold up and stainless steel will not rust.For all intents and purposes, this is incredible deal for two units, stainless steel and serves a very functional purpose. Much better than mesh holders which can trap small pieces of food..

I'm in love with this!!! As an Asian person, I use chopsticks for almost everything. I also have been using stainless steel and glass straws lately to try to reduce my plastic consumption. And the bane of my existence lately has been having to put the chopsticks and straws at an angle in the dishwasher utensils holder because it goes through the holes of the holder and falls to the bottom of the dishwasher and I can't push the dishwasher shelf in without having to try to fix the chopsticks and straws in the way. Lo and behold, I saw this. And I knew I needed it. And since I've used this, it has been so much easier to throw my chopsticks and straws in my dishwasher. And they also seem to clean them very well. I haven't seen much of an issue. But because these have thin openings, I do check them every dishwasher cycle to see if big clumps of food have gotten stuck in them and wash it. But it's way easier to clean this once in a while than to wash each of my chopsticks and straws I use throughout the days. This is definitely one of my favorite things right now, it's just made life more efficient.

I often have little knick-knacks that get tossed into the dishwasher, and sometimes they fall through the racks and end up at the bottom. A recent wash included metal reusable straws and a rubber spatula, and I placed both inside the wire holder, which worked out great. I plan to use these holders mostly for tall, thin objects (like straws and chopsticks) or oddly shaped items that won't fit into the utensil caddy (like those plastic cups that come with cold medicine).

This cutlery basket is so perfect! The wide mouth allows you to put anything in there but the height of the basket keeps even the tall items in. The slats of the basket is big enough for enough water to flow through so that the contents can get really clean but also thin enough that the chopsticks don’t fall through. This has truly been a life saver for me.I can also put my measuring cups in there as I noticed that they get lifted up and flipped around by the water jets during the wash cycle but i no longer have trouble using this basket.Since the mouth is bigger, it really allows you to put even bigger items in there if needed. The price point is great- especially for 2 baskets!! highly recommend!

My dishwasher has two, large, rectangular utensil holders that take up one entire side. I got this clip-on baskets to be able to move my silverware basket around to accommodate other dishes. They are lightweight and durable.

We got new flatware and the style of them made them not fit in the utensil holder of our dishwasher. We bought these. We put the small one in the corner of the top rack and the larger one in the corner of the bottom rack. They just clip in easily. ( we do find they don’t come off quite as easily but it doesn’t matter because we don’t need to regularly remove them). We can load a ton of our new silverware in them loose and they come 100% clean every time. We still use our dishwasher silverware container for other items. And the corners we put these in are sort of wasted space anyway. Great purchase!
