Another favorite of mine. I did not like the way my back hanging filters worked so for a long time I chose to stick with sponge filters. However, it was always a pain when they just float around and behave in an obtrustive manner. I love the fact that I don't have to use air pipe because I don't need extra but this gives a nice air flow in the tank.

Within hours of installing this into a 14 gallon overstocked tank it cleared the water to almost perfect. I'm interested to see what it does overnight to clear the remaining debris. No instructions were included so I removed a point for that. I can't speak to longevity for I just installed it today in addition to the already established HOB filter.Half a dozen guppies have quickly to well over 100 fish in one tank via reproduction. I need help keeping the water clean until I figure out what to do with all these guppies.As long as the motor lasts I would buy this filter again.
