I saw this cake mold and bought it to make my granddaughters birthday cake. I was nervous because it seemed not to sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised how well it held the batter and even more surprised how beautiful the cake came out. The detail of the flower on the top was amazing. It came out of the mold easy with not a crumb out of place! If you want to try a mold this is a good one to start with.

It’s really nice looking at picture looks like it’s supposed to have a Top and Bottom I only got one piece! Very pretty needs to be a little more sturdy though!

Ce moule rend le démoulage facile, surtout si on le badigeonne au préalable avec un antiadhésif en bombe pour pâtisserie (Pam, par exemple). Spécialement beau avec une pâte sans ajouts (de pépites de chocolat ou de noix) et pâle, ce qui se rapproche davantage du motif «fleur». Il suffit de verser un glaçage coulant dans les plis des pétales, et l'effet est assez spectaculaire.

I tried making muffins in this intriguing silicone mould but they had hardly any definition once cooked. I thought the cake would show more of the shape you can see on the outside. It is so flimsy that it would hardly stand up on its own. Unfortunately also too big for my 6qt Instant Pot so had to put it in the fan oven. I will put this purchase down to experience but wouldn't buy anything similar.
