I got these to use as "ears" or mounting brackets for audio equipment. Ended up using them as brackets to put my desk together and keep the panels straight.

I was able to install these brackets on to my NavePoint 12U rack server by attaching to the 10.5 inches NavePoint Universal Rack Tray Vented Shelves. The solution was just perfect for me as the trays are now holding heavy weight equipment such as a battery UPS and the NAS system.

They're solid metal - none of that flimsy stuff that makes you nervous about hanging expensive equipment. My switch feels rock-solid once they're mounted up, which gives me peace of mind.Getting everything set up was pretty straightforward, though here's a heads-up: while they include mounting screws for the rack itself, you might need to dig through your spare parts bin for the right-sized screws to attach the ears to your specific device. That's just how it goes with these universal-type solutions.I did find that the front portions may actually be TOO big. I have a DIY homemade rack, any they actually go out so far that they required me to use some spacers under the bolts.What I appreciate is how flexible these brackets are. The holes line up with pretty much any piece of equipment I've tried them with, regardless of the brand. Makes life a whole lot easier when you're trying to keep your rack looking clean and professional. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to properly rack-mount their networking gear.
