I’ve had them set up on my deck for weeks, through gusty winds, and they haven’t shown a hint of rust. The robust construction ensures they won’t bend, even when supporting heavy string lights across my 20 foot patio. The adjustable height lets me customize the pole length to create the perfect lighting setup, lower for a cozy patio glow and higher for broader backyard illumination. I set one pole at full 5 foot height and the other slightly shorter to create a stylish light swag, and the result is nice.

I installed these string light poles on my patio deck and they have been easy to set up. Each pole slides into the provided sleeves and the fixing clips hold the light strands securely. The metal feels sturdy and stands upright even in mild wind. I appreciate that they attach to my deck railing without requiring extra tools. 100 percent a good product for its value of money, ease of installation instructions and advertised to be of durability, but I suppose only time will tell, right? So I'm sorry, I can't yet speak of it's durability (for example, rusting) as I have not yet installed it outdoors. It doesn't rain here much in arid SoCal, so I don't envision these poles rusting anytime soon.It was easy to put together right out of the box. Well folks, that's when I sadly realized I ordered the incorrect style for my yard because I did not see ground forks in my box!I'm a full time International Flight Attendant and super crazy busy flying irregular hours like an RN--along with performing many other work related and life responsibilities, so sometimes I rush shop...I'm that girl, Shopper on the Fly! Thought this was the type of pole with the ground fork attachment LOL and now I am trying to figure out how to elongate this and integrate it with another pole, so that I can poke dunk it into the ground. I can push it into the ground as is, however, it is too short and I need more matching black poles to make it taller.I see how simple it is to install according to the colorful instruction sheet. Too bad I am not permitted to install it into the brick wall fence because I am sadly renting a house. (Grrrr to the cost of buying and insuring a home in Cali!)It's a good looking black, hollow and shiny metal pole, though I think that if they had different shapes at pole top (where the light string passes through it) for example--a heart, a hot air balloon, a star, a moon, etc....it would attract more buyers.So far, with what I have put together minus installation, this pair of AHRLHR brand of string light poles functionality is right on track as advertised. It doesn't look like my string lights will randomly come out of place in the top of pole light holder area, my string lights should be remain secure during our crazy mountain and ocean wind gust bursts in SoCal. You can make my outside space feel cozy with string light poles like these. To hang lights over my deck, they don't have to be 5 feet tall. It's fine to be 6 feet. Something isn't moving, even when there's wind. It's easy to connect any kind of string lights with the clips that come with it. Putting them together was easy; all you had to do was push them into the ground. Thank you for the lovely yard lights. I love that they're metal. It's better than trying to hang lights on my house or trees.

These string lights are outstanding light products for the outdoors. I have a big backyard and it requires a lot of lighting. I have a lot of large light fixtures already, but there’s one part mainly where my family eats that’s quite dark. I didn’t want something too bright which is why I settled with these string lights. They’re very easy to wrap around any poles. They hang great and provide the perfect amount of lighting during the night. I got them set up very quickly and in general, and the battery is very reliable. The size is perfect as the length was able to string across the sides. I love these new lightings. They look good, produce enough lighting, and were super easy to set up. Just the thing to finish up my outdoor dining area.
