Seriously? How can you say this powers on an R7 when it does not? The R7 needs 4 wires and this cord only has 2? Also the wires slid out of the connector and I needed pliers to get it out of my 500 dollar device. I'm tired of amazon and Chinese bs.

Cord quit working after only a week, where it plugs into the radar detector it would only make connection sometimes. Detector would come on and go off randomly.

Needed a way to install a cord more discreetly in my car for my detector. This flat cable allows me to do a semi permanent install to the cigarette lighter and hide it under the panels to the dash. Fuse in the tip. 11.5ft allows it to be run around the console to the dash. Indicator light for power.

I have a new Tesla and I placed my radar detector on a mount on the upper left corner of the screen. It works well there, but the dectector (Uniden DFR7) has a coiled stretchy power cord, which works fine, but doesn't look great stretched over the center console to the back of the screen. This straight power cord allowed me to run the cord under some trim panels on the console, and hidden behind the screen to the radar detector. Works great, and much less visible and less intrusive. Good product that worked great for my situation. Recommended.
