Installation
- Locate the 7-way wiring harness plugs at the rear of vehicle above the factory 7-way RV socket assembly, usually found over toward the drivers side frame member. This connector harness will have the same connector ends as the carrofix T-Connector.
- Disconnect the vehicle 7-way RV wiring harness plugs. Connectors will disconnect by pressing or lifting on a locking tab and pulling apart.
- Remove factory 7-way RV socket from vehicle 7-way mounting bracket.
- Insert the Carrofix T-connector harness into the vehicle 7-way and 4-pin mounting bracket (Provided) and secure with mounting bolts (Provided).
- Route the wire harness from the installed 7 way and 4 pin connector to the factory exsiting plugs. Connect the plugs making sure the connectors are fully inserted
- Plug trailer connectors into 4-way and 7-way receptacles and test all functions with the engine running to ensure proper operation.
Tips: A heavy duty flasher may be required to eliminate rapid flashing.

Works,but not as good of quality as a previous one I bought. The piece that holds the 7 way trailer connection to it doesn’t seem that great Kind of loose. Doesn’t the job though.

Price was great,quality is average cheap product.the mounting bracket is alittle flimsy,but strong enough.Had to drill the 2 mounting holes bigger to accept factory toyota bolts.Had to use my factory 4 pin mount as a standoif bracket,and bend the new flimsy mout to clear my factory towing package.But......the new plus works as it should.

My factory connector was old and the bracket was very rusty. I bought this connector and I plugged right into my factory harness. Works great.
