2. For better release, it is recommended to spray a layer of oil before pouring in the ingredients.

After using Pam to grease them before baking, the cakes virtually fell out of the pan. Easy clean up and storage !

I have been looking for some small cake pans to make smaller servings on my health quest, so when I saw these being heart shaped too (I love heart shaped things!) I had to order them. So far I have used them for making both small cake portions, but also for jello. These are advertised as nonstick, but I have not had the most nonstick experience. You still need to grease them a lot or in my experience your item will not come out easily. Jello wouldn't come out at all so I just had to eat it out of the thing.My only other complaint, or constructive criticism to add is that I feel like the V part at the top of the heart should be deeper and more pronounced or sharper to make it more obvious that the cake is heart shaped, but other than that this pan has worked well for me so far and I don't have any issues with it.The silicone that these are made of is of an okay thickness, they are not the thickest or most durable feeling pans but so far they have held up well through multiple uses and my dishwasher as well. Since they are thin and kind of floppy, you do need to put them on top of a baking pan of some kind in my experience. Also, for the record these are like palm sized small cakes, they are not multiserving type cake pans.Overall, I do like these, I just wish the v at the top of the heart was a bit larger and deeper, that they were more nonstick, and that the silicone was a bit thicker so they were less floppy, but they do work okay for what I wanted them for. Since I did have three complaints, I probably would not be willing to order these again in my personal experience.

These mini heart-shaped cake molds are so cute, you can bake handmade Valentine cake easily with these non-stick silicone material. If two molds are different sizes, it would be perfect!
