Good fit on my 2008 A3 S-Line. Took about an hour to install by myself. Good directions. The receiver is pretty well hidden under the bumper. Will only be using this for a bike rack, the installation is not suitable for much more.

It works as advertised. Installation on Audi A3 was quite a hassle = took ~5hrs. Combined with Swagman Chinook 2, we can carry two bikes reliably. One downside = A3 + Curt 11831 + Swagman makes the bumper-to-rack clearence too short. Folding up the rack = damages bumper. Bummer. Otherwise great.

The product is OK. The inconvenience in my case is that the receiver tube is 1 inch too short and the Thule 990XT Doubletrack Platform Bike Hitch Rack that I own cannot be folded.

The hitch arrived quickly and was well packaged. The installation on my 2006 A3 was straight forward, with the bumper removal taking the bulk of the install time. This hitch will be used to mount a bike rack. I recommend this product to Audi A3 owners.

I received the CURT 11920 trailer hitch for my 2013 A3. The installation instructions were clear, concise, and made the whole process a breeze. I primarily plan on using this hitch as a mount point for my bike rack and/or for a light duty tail hitch luggage rack. Total time taken from start to finish was about 2 hours.My only critique is that the bumper support arms of the A3 already have one hole in the top surface of each support bracket and it would be great of CURT could modify their product to take advantage of these holes. It also would be great if they would make a Class II hitch for the A3.
