Wow, great product. Perfect fit on my 2018 Cruze Hatchback. Hardware kit is amazing with bolt fishing wire made that part very easy. Instruction were great, finished it myself in under two hours taking my time. looking forward to heading out on the road with our bike rack securely attached. Thanks CURT, well done!

As some of the videos state, the instructions are incorrect, two more notches are necessary in the heat shield for the mounting. The passenger side muffler mount has 2 small plastic tabs that must be pushed back with screwdrivers to remove it. You will need several different length extensions on your ratchet to correctly tighten the bolts. I was able to do the job alone in 2 hours by driving the car on a hill so the muffler was very accessible.

I was able to install it at home with the help of a family member on my 18 Cruze hatch. It did not require any cutting to the rear bumper, but did require cutting the heat shield over the muffler (not hard to do, did it with a pair of kitchen scissors.)

So easy to install with just a few hand tools and a car ramp. Took about 45 minutes with only very minor trimming of the heat shield. Blends into the rear end perfectly too IMO

Exact fit called for an hour to install. Had the reciever/hitch/wiring all installed and under use in half an hour.

Bought this to extend the versatility of our 2017 Cruze Hatch back. I recommend looking up videos on Youtube for installation instructions. They really helped. I didn't have a "second set of hands" to help lift the hitch up into place (it weights about 40 lbs, so it's not light!), but a floor jack worked well to hold it up into place while I bolted it in. The only thing I didn't understand is why the instructions call for notching out the heat shield as much as they do. I ended up just notching out a small area to miss the two bolts that do interfere with the heat shield. That aside, the hitch fit great, it appears to be well built and have a nice finish, and tucks up nicely under the car, with only the receiver dropping below the bumper. The face of the receiver also sits back a few inches behind the face of the bumper, so you won't knock your shin when not in use. Overall, very pleased.

This was a perfect fit for my 2017 Chevy Cruze Hatchback. I have always had good luck with Curt hitches and will continue to use them for all of my vehicles.
