Beware that these are only compatible with encrypted telus security system. And you won't known until u try to use them.. usually after the return date.

I wrote to the seller, but never received a response. According to the company I am using for my alarm service (24inControl - Alarm.com), these sensors are locked and can only be used on Telus alarm systems. The device is DSC PG9914 PIR Motion Detector and the model number information is PG9914 M6 (915-6:xxx), which can supposedly only be used with Telus systems. Supposedly, the unlocked North American version of this sensor is PG9914 M6 (915-3:xxx). I wrote to ask Seller King if they have the version I need, but I heard nothing back. It seems that at the very least, this level of detail should be included in the description to prevent confusion and unnecessary returns.

I had received an open box item with missing parts and the battery was already installed meaning it had been used in the past. Otherwise it works fine, just wish it came with a pet door (missing item).

Works well buying this and installing it yourself saved me $140.00. Just call your alarm company to run you thru installation codes.
