This is a huge umbrella and I love the shape. But I'm definitely going to find a different sturdier base and table to use it with. Going to have to watch it closely when the wind picks up. Great price for the giant umbrella

This is a great umbrella we picked up for our patio. We have an open patio that doesn't have a lot of shade in the open and got this to help with that. We did have to pick up a base separately, so be sure to add one to your cart when getting this umbrella. The umbrella itself is not that heavy at all, and was easy to put together with the stand we got. The pole is very sturdy and durable and holds well. The crank and pin, the umbrella fabric, everything is very strong. Holds up to the window well with the vent holds at the top. It is also a rather large size, so it may be prone to tipping if not careful. We recently had to add a bit more weight to our stand, using sand instead of water to give it more anchor weight. We have fit our child's baby pool under it and had a lot of start of summer fun outside. It provides a LOT of shade. We did also pick up an umbrella protector for it when not in use. As durable as this product is, we like the extra protection. Especially from high winds.

This is an awesome umbrella for the price point. It is incredibly wide and covers a ton of area. The fabric seems sturdy enough to survive the elements, but I would cover it while you're not using it.I have it mounted into a steel umbrella holder that is bolted into my concrete deck. I would recommend using a bolted-down anchor vs a weighted umbrella base for this umbrella. The structure and mechanism aren't as heavy duty as high-end umbrellas, but this is to be expected at the price point this is offered at. It functions flawlessly and should last a long time if property cared for.

This is an honest unbiased review. For the price I figured it would be a thin metal cheap fabric umbrella like you would find at local box stores. I am actually impressed with the weight and build. I have it in a table with a metal base and does a good job. However something to remember is that the surface area is very large compared to the round umbrella and will need good support and make sure if windy to put it down and not leave it open for the wind to catch it. I would actually purchase another at this price.

This is perfect over my wooden patio swing. It installed in my base easily - please note, it is a large pole, so the base needs to accommodate this size - and cranked up and down smoothly. It really is easy to put together as well - just pop one metal pole onto the other and sit it into a base. It's made for shade, not necessarily made for serious rain or wind storms, so I put it down when not in use. This will help my open patio a lot this summer.

I have a small deck and this umbrella almost shades the whole thing! I got a heavyweight railing bracket to use with it and the pole just slides into the holder. The umbrella looks and feels well made and its fairly heavy. The cranking mechanism seems like it takes a few turns to get going but in it's defense there is a large mass for it to move. Once fully open there is a pin you can put in to lock it in place. This baby throws a lot of shade! Very pleased with this and it's super easy to use. All I had to do after removing it from the box was to attach the long end of the pole and this was done by pushing in a button and lining it up with a hole on the main shaft for it to lock into. Super easy and fast. I was able to start using it immediately.
