Perfect GFCI outlet with outdoor cover. It includes a special upper screw to attach the cover as it is installed with the cover closed (down), so don't loose it while installing it.This is a 15Amp outlet.

Added this outlet to my deck as an extension for my grill. Was very simple to install and I like that it came with its own cover that very slim. It seals the plug very well behind and the front. It's been installed for about a month now and doing well

We had new outlets installed on our front porch and backyard. These outlets with cover are excellent quality and very stylish. We chose white to match our window frames and house trim. Very pleased with them and 100% recommend!

I thought that buying a kit would provide me with all of the parts I might require to repair a faulty outlet on my lanai. I didn't know if I would need the box but I knew I'd be using the receptacle and the hinged cover. The hold-down screws for the hot and neutral leads were difficult to loosen enough to fit the solid core wire. It didn't seem to be robust enough to survive a humid, salt-laden environment. In any case, there appeared to be an internal fault in the receptacle as the neutral connection was intermittent ... I had to replace it with a Levitor receptacle. I ended up just using the hinged cover from this kit.

The size does make it difficult to mount in a watertight single gang electrical box. Any wire nutted conductors in the box must be perfectly positioned to allow for insertion and anchoring of the receptacle and final installation of weather resistant cover door.

I’m fairly handy but by no means am I an electrician. I’ve installed a lot of outlets, lights and ceiling fans, but this was my first GFI. I have the basics down, but these instructions blew me away. They were so well written in clear, plain layman’s terms and in large enough font I didn’t have to blow them up with my phone camera to read them. The instructions were so thorough, I learned more about installing outlets than I ever did on YouTube or prior installs. And it made perfect sense and was so easy to comprehend.Perfect fit, perfect test, perfectly operational in 20mins. Solved a long-standing issue I’ve had with a finicky porch outlet that I always had to jiggle the cord just right to get a connection, and then be careful not to touch it, blow on it, or look at it once I had power. These directions are a role model for all other companies to follow. THANK YOU!Yeah yeah…I know my cover is upside down. That’s intentional. It’s so I don’t have to bend over and look under to plug stuff in. It’s a fully covered porch, 15 feet deep. Water gets nowhere near it, not ever.
