Works well and raised the 5000 lbs vehicle fairly quickly.

Serious Safety Concerns — I Cannot RecommendBased on my experience, I cannot recommend this jack. It appears to be made from relatively thin metal that bent noticeably under normal use. As the vehicle lifted and shifted inward — which is expected during lifting — the jack did not seem to adjust properly. I observed the locking teeth starting to bend, which raised serious concerns about its long-term safety.Additionally, the construction seemed to rely on multiple thinner pieces of metal rather than a single solid piece, which may have contributed to the issue. After only a few uses, I no longer felt safe using it and had to replace it. Unfortunately, it failed just after the return window closed. While others may have had different experiences, I personally found this product unreliable for lifting a vehicle, and I would not purchase it again. One star.

At 4.7 inches minimum height, it goes with ease under my C7 Z06. Though it struggles to lift the front of the car but after a while it manages to lift the tire off the ground. I have also tried it on my RAM 1500 and it lifts it without any issues. The only negative side is that it takes a long time to lift or retract the jack. I have modified the up/down control push buttons by wiring a toggle switch to lower the jack instead of continuing holding the down button. Overall, I am satisfied with it.

This is the first time I've used it. It only works on the top side for a minute of use after it doesn't work.

I bought this jack mainly for occasional driveway maintenance -- rotating tires, changing to winter tires, brake jobs, etc. My driveway is gravel, which isn't great for using floor jacks, and since my car has low ground clearance, I am pretty much limited to using scissor jacks. I have really gotten tired of using a manual scissor jack... especially when I'm doing two or more corners of the car. After seeing a 1.5 ton electric scissor jack in a local auto parts store, I started doing some research. Reviews of electric jacks are mixed, as are the specs and the included accessories. My main concern was trustworthiness and longevity. This product has a lot of positive reviews and also includes the battery adapter, which was important to me. I didn't want to risk blowing fuses in my car's 12v outlet. I also like that it comes with a pair of work gloves. Yes, you could buy these accessories separately, but it is nice that they are included. The case is very nice. It has a place for everything (including three spare fuses). There is some extra room if you want to keep a few small accessories in there, too. The case is sturdy and features metal clasps to keep it closed. There's a small and not very reflective triangle on the side. A nice touch is the patch of hook and loop material to keep it from sliding around in your trunk.I removed the cover over the gears to see what it looked like inside. All but one of the gears are metal. I'm guessing they use a plastic gear so that it is the part that would fail if the jack was over loaded. It's better for a gear to strip than for a structural part of the jack to fail. I did clean off the grease and re-greased with a good quality lithium grease. I always assume that the included grease is pretty cheap, but that's just me.Using this scissor jack is pretty straight forward. You plug it in (or hook it to your car's battery) and press the up or down button. I won't go into the basics of scissor jack use and safety here intros review. My little hints for this jack are as follows: 1. I recommend using the battery adapter when possible. This way you aren't putting stress on the 12v outlet circuit in your car. 2. Watch the cord! It is east to have the cord pinched under or in the jack as it goes up or down. 3. Have your engine running if possible. Your battery puts out about 12.6v when the car is off, but will put out about 14.5v when running. This is better for any power-hungry accessories.

I wanted an easier solution than the factory manual scissor jack for changing tires in the garage and off-road. I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It has a curb weight of about 4,200 pounds so this jack should lift a corner with ease. I tried the jack out in my garage and it worked like a charm the first time.I have no complaints about the operation of the jack. It was packaged well and comes with a hard plastic case. The jack appears to be very sturdy and everything fits well into the molded case. A concern for my vehicle is that a convenient jack point on the rear is right next to a tire. A lot of care must be taken when putting the new tire on as it is possible to contact the jack with the tire and knock everything over. This is not a great issue in my garage but might be more of a problem off-road on shifty surfaces. This is not a problem with the jack -- more the design of the vehicle. The jack has a fairly large base and seems stable. The only real complaint is with the manual crank. I tried it out on my workbench and it wouldn't lift the jack at all. It is made of a plastic material with threads that fits into a port on the motor after removing the dust cover. This is not explained in the instructions very well but is pretty intuitive. Trying to raise the jack simply tore up the threads on the plastic lever. Looking through the port hole I could see plastic gears inside. That's not necessarily bad and explains the plastic crank. In re-reading the instructions I encountered this: "If the electric jack can not work after the car be lifted you can insert the hand crank into the cover into the cover [sic] of gear box to lower the electric jack." This is perhaps telling me that the manual crank is just for lowering the jack. Based on my experience with the plastic crank, I am doubtful that it would hold up under load so I would want to use another jack to free up the electric one.I was surprised by how fast the jack operated. I didn't time the operation but it seems like it took much less than a minute to get my 35-inch tire off the floor. This is much better than I anticipated and the total process was incredibly easier than using the OEM jack.I wanted to rate this 4 stars because of the manual crank issue but changed it to 5 when I gave 5 stars to all the subcategories. The manual crank issue should not affect the jack in normal operation and if it fails under load I have the backup OEM jack.
