If you are - and I am - a Slinky Fan, you don't need me to tell you about them. They were legit EB's and you can get them (at this price) anywhere and everywhere. I needed them in a hurry, but not a "sound check's at noon" hurry and happened to stroll passed the Amazon site and, well, here we are. My guess is that you are pretty much in the same or similar situation and, well, there you are.If you don't know them then you are most likely a newbie and must try them and see if you like them. I think you will. And don't forget to try different gauges! You'd be amazed at the difference one step up or down can make.

I've used these before and not sure what this issue was, but the high E string on broke on me after just a few hours of play. I replaced it with one from the second pack. We'll see how long that one lasts. Break happened on the bridge side during a bend. I think the winding around the retention ring just gave way.

I like these almost as much d'addario strings, but that is just personal preference. I bought these for my granddaughters guitars because they are her favorite. I was doing some maintenance and repair on her Strat, and she needed new strings
