I like this little filter for my little tank , this might be the first time I’ve gotten one I think will last awhile . It’s quiet just the sound of water falling like a little statue fountain that fits on a table , it’s that quiet .We have one Betta and he’s not bothered at all . A win win and a purchase I’m happy about

Warning!I believe the sponge may have chemicals that contaminated my water! Two of my fish have died within 24 hrs of adding this filter to an established tank. I have raised saltwater fish for a long time and that was the only difference that was added. Beware!

Does a great job keeping my 50 gallon tank clean and clear. The waterfall design also keeps the water oxygenated. One tip is to not let the water drop below the motor pump as it gets quite loud.

I just got this pump/filter today. It was to set up, and it works, but there is a very loud buzzing from the pump that I'm not sure I can deal with. I will possibly be returning it and trying something else.*EDIT*After letting the pump run for a couple of days, the buzzing noise has disappeared, and now it just makes a constant low hum that's much more tolerable. I don't know if the pump just needed a "break-in period" or what. I've changed my review score.
