We have a King-size bed and when the weather gets cold, we like to keep the bedroom cold and the bed warm. We have bought several heated mattress pads for the bed. All had dual controls and when working, kept the bed warm. But, each one we owned, one side or the other would fail and then you wound up with on person comfortably warm, and the other freezing. So the resolution was to throw out the mattress pad even though one side was still working, and buy another to fit the king bed. Then I found the Giantex heated pad for Twin Beds, and by buying two of them, we essentially have a king-size mattress pad. But the best thing, if one goes bad, we only replace the bad one and leave the other one in place. So far, both pads have been performing perfect after one year of service. I do think the control could be a little more robust. You have a button you press to cycle through the heat ranges (5) and a button to set a timer if you wish. For me, the lowest setting still gets a little to warm, but my partner usually has hers on high. I have an RV with a queen size bed, and I will be buying two more of these for it. We currently have an electric blanket which has failed on us, so buying these pads would be a wise choice for us.

This heating pad is perfect for me. The temperature feels accurate to the bar settings.. I love the timer since I sleep with the heating pad. Very happy with this product.

I love this product. It fits under the mattress pad; you can set it for various time periods and temperatures. A few things to improve; the cord from the pad to the controller is way too short, the connection of that cord attached to the corner is thick and creates a fairly big lump and, finally, the directions say to attach it firmly to the mattress but there really isn't any good way to do that and nothing is provided. Fortunately, the latter doesn't seem to be terribly important.

I have purchased more than one of these. Each time the controller failed within two years of light use. Basically we use it to take the chill off the bed in the winter then turn it off when we get in. I figured the first time was possibly a defective timer. I purchased the pads for the RV also. I've been "stealing" the controllers from the RV for the house. Each time the timer simply quit working. If you purchase, consider buying the "insurance" as it will more than likely fail even with light use. Very poor product and count on failure.

This electric heated pad has a convenient temperature control with 5 modes, and a timer function that allows you to set the heat for up to 8 hours. The material is soft and comfortable, made of polyester fibre, and the low-voltage heat function makes it safe to use. However, I had difficulty sleeping with it on, even at the lowest temperature setting.

I love this because I'm always cold at night, but my hubs didn't want a heated pad on his side. It stays in place nicely on my side of the bed. It does get really hot. I've only used it up to the second heat setting so far and some nights I turn it off in the middle of the night. I really like how warm it keeps me and it heats up quickly.

This is perfect! The husband is always hot and I’m always cold, I can’t keep a heated blanket on and I’m not great about making my bed and this solved all the things! It does get very warm and even though I’m a lizard I rarely use it on high because I get hot- which is hard to believe. This review was written after two months of ownership and so far so good. I’m ordering them for my kids.

I purchased this Sept 21, I have used it very few times for my part time mobile massage business. Used it tops...Tops 14 hours total and never had it turned on for more that 2 hours at a time. The power button will turn on but thats it, no heat, to temperature control and no timer works. Power to it but its just dead. I suggest investing a bit more money for a different product that will work for longer than 2 months with very minimal hours on use.

I’ve only had this pad for 2 days, so I can’t provide a true assessment of the longevity of the product. I wish Amazon would allow us a week or so before filling my inbox with requests for product ratings. So far, so good with the mattress of. I got the twin so I could be warm on my side of the bed. My husband is not cold natured, so this flat pad was ideal where I fitted pad wouldn’t work for this. I turn it on and set the temperature and it’s warm in about 5 minutes. Fits well underneath my regular mattress pad.It gets HOT on high. I’m in the Deep South, so it wasn’t purchased so much for warmth in cold weather. It’s for my horrible back, hip, and shoulder pain that goes along with multiple autoimmune disorders. I can start off with medium heat, but have to switch it down to low after about an hour. I lie in bed and watch tv and read for a bit before sleep though, so that’s not a problem. I set the timer for 2 hours last night though bc I woke up sweating after the first night (even on low). That being said, it was 70 degrees here on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so it hasn’t been very cold at night (50-55 degrees).I like this product so far and think it will be wonderful for anyone living in a cold climate or for anyone that needs all over heat for sore joints/ muscles. If it lasts, it deserves the 5 star rating.*The plug is not bothersome because it is at the top of the pad, near the headboard and is under my pillow. I haven’t even noticed it being there.*
