The assembly is reasonable and the instructions are good. This rake will make it easier and safer to remove snow from the edge of the roof. Even at 30 feet, it's pretty sturdy. Nylon material is a great addition to help guide snow better and prevent it from hitting the sides or Windows of the house. I recommend it. I believe we are well prepared for any snow this year.

Got somebody to quote me a price to remove some snow from roof and it was $150. Bought this instead- now i can do this every year. Really easy to assemble, light weight and sturdy. Works well! Highly recommended. Just make sure you are prepared to clear the snow that drops from the roof. It took me quarter of the time to remove snow from roof, compared to removing snow from the ground.

Assembly instructions are completely inadequate; plastic connections are not secure so device falls apart unless you're dealing with fluffy soft snow. I bought this at the end of last winter and only now assembled it. Sorry I waited. Save your money.

well it doesn't work on a canvas topped gazebo!. and as in other comments, it was difficult to attach the roller to the frame. sure hoping it will work better on hard top roof. Curious to know if the roll of plastic is to be totally unrolled before rolling the frame onto the roof..cause it wasn't doing anything. I ended up having to take a wide broom and push snow off from underneath the canvas. Some instructions would have been nice.

There were several things I did not like about this product. First, there is a lot of plastic which just seems kind of cheap and not very durable. Second, there is a crank handle to roll up the slide sheet; it is molded onto the "axle" rod without any deformation or other way to prevent the handle from just slipping around the rod. Then, the slide sheet is attached to the "axle" rod by a plastic clip which slides around the rod when any tension is applied. Bottom line it is difficult to roll up. -- On the positive, the sectional handle was a good diameter to resist bending when fully extended, yet light weight. -- The slide sheet was much longer than I had expected but I'm not sure that very long length is a positive because I returned this item without using it.

Didn't cut through the snow as easy as shown on ad. I had to drill out the wheels so they would rotate and the button to disassemble is placed behind the wheels. Very difficult to get to.

No issues with the assembly and no issues with the poles coming apart. Like others have said if there is any breeze the wind like to fly the plastic like a kite. So far so good

Great for removing heavy snow from the roof. My only complaint is that the tarp could be more durable. I have only used it once and it already has some issues with pulling apart. The polls are lightweight and solid.
