These are super easy to set up on your pull up bar, it's just carabiners that connect the ends of the straps over the top of the bar. The exercise is is intuitive and simple to do, doesn't take any "balance" or special talent (aside from the strength to do it. It is, of course, a pretty strenuous exercise; I don't think you'd be looking for these if you didn't already know that. The straps maybe look a little more "padded" in the photos than they actually are but when you do the exercise, you find that there isn't any need for padding, it's all perfectly comfortable. Anyway, these are strong enough to support my weight and allow me to use my pull-up bar for a secondary type of exercise and that's what I wanted. Do recommend.

I've been doing hanging leg raises for a while now and I was very pleasantly surprised to pick up these abstracts to take some tension off my arms. Let's just say it did not improve my time for doing hanging leg raises, but it has taken some stress off my arms. These are heavy duty, ab straps, and I do not see any way that these are going to rip or tear in any near future. Even for people who are heavier than myself at about 190 pounds these will last you a lifetime with their build. You will sooner stop doing hanging leg raises then these will fail.

Hanging Ab Straps Vine Review. Brand: JOHAHTANG. A different kind of leg lifts, instead of flat on your back, you hang vertically. Oh my, this is actual gut wrenching. 🥵 Call it “the next level”. After the StinkFactor decontamination (below) I quick tried these on a chin up bar in a garage, that I can’t really use. (It was for the kids). Yikes, right to the old guttyworks. I admit the straps do make it comfortable on the arms, and your abs and legs are in for the workout you asked for. Seems like a good product, easy to hang, nice not being on the floor (you have dogs?) and comfortable… to your arms! (Takes a load off?)Price is competitive with others.Review rating of 4 stars . StinkFactor 10.*Adjusted RyanL Vine Voice rating scale:★ Well below expectations. Or highly priced for no known reason.★★★★ Meets expectations. Price seemed competitive when review was written.★★★★★ Exceeds expectations and/or the competition with Value. Unique. (Less than 30% of my Vine reviews of items over $15.00.)*StinkFactor X - Where X is the number of 24 hour days it takes outside in sun, wind and sometimes rain to tolerate being near this. Not a joke, but not quite objective. My nose is sensitive to many Asian rubber and plastic products, with hook and loop / velcro being one of the worst. And any bags might need to be turned inside out and hung too!

It works great! The only thing I would recommend in the design is having a length strap to adjust the height of these for various arm lengths. Aside of that, it's great and works as expected!

You can get a gut wrenching core workout without causing harm to wrist and elbows, especially if you have arthritis like I do. Just a simple tool that works extremely well to isolate your core while protecting your hands and arms. Before getting this, it was my hands and elbows would limit how much could work my core muscles. I really like like this sling.

These hanging straps work well for what they are designed for. I've never really used hanging straps for ab workouts, but tried these straps for that and found it is a good but tough routine. I actually got these to use as leg straps for a reverse hyper extension device I have built in my home gym for working glutes/back/hams. Its working great for that after I MacGyvered how to attach it right. Same kind of design, just hooking legs into the straps rather than arms. The product is built very well, with solid stitching and minimal but useful padding. The straps and caribiners are sufficient for supporting any weight or stress you might reasonably put to them.

The Roman chair used to be my go to for core/ab workouts, but since transitioning to a home gym it just hasn't been in the budget to purchase. These definitely provide all the benefits at a fraction of the price. Whether it's my 6'3 225 lb husband, my 5'11 165 lb son or myself at 5'1 and, I will leave the weight part a mystery and just say it's less than the other 2, we all get the desired core workouts.

I got these to use with my pull-up bar to enhance by ab workout. They are easy to set up and use, and are very effective. You use the carabiner to connect the two sides of the strap and loop around the bar, slide your arms into the cradles and hold the top of the straps while you lift your lower body. It makes a big difference rather than just holding the bar and doing the same exercise. The straps are thick and well made, and rather comfortable on your upper arms. I would recommend these to a friend.
