Works pretty good for a cheap antenna. Far better than the redbull can sized antenna I had. Easily swapped to the mag mount base. I can easily hit my clubs repeaters from my QTH without any problems, couldn't do that before.

Rock solid and fine 2 Meter Antenna. Great SWR on both VHF/UHF. Even Better when you get the ground plane or vehicle under it. I use it for a camping/portable "Tree-tenna" on 550 cord riser. Perfect for my needs. Breaks down quick for backpack transport. Can hit a 2M Repeater 93 Mile LOS from a 40ft Maple tree.

Spring base antenna appears to be well made, however I had to lengthen the whip to max to get a low SWR on 145. There are 2 screws to hold the antenna on , mine is JUST holding with the top screw, hope It stays on !

I have 3 of these. One at home at 50W, and 2 on the RV, one mobile and one for RX.I forget what VSWRs i get on these, but when i swept them it was very low. Like 1.1-1.2 on both bands.Great Value!
