This heats up so quickly and can be very warm! I usually only set mine on 3 or 4 and it is plenty warm enough. The only downside is where the plug is on the bed. My feet run into it but it would be right under my head if we turned it around.

My electric blanket went out and I was never really happy with it anyway. Bought this mattress pad and wow, what a difference it has made. I’m not sure why they have so many temperature settings though, I’m cooking after level 2 and my sleeping area is chilly to say the least.

We love it! Dual controls, quick heat up when turned on, timer, alot of settings for your comfort level, easy to use, lights up when you push a button so you can change settings in the dark, very soft! Best of all unlike other heated mattress pads we can't feel the heat coils under us! Very comfortable!

I was actually in the market for an electric blanket but found this during cyber Monday. I've been using it for 5 nights now and could not be happier! Very easy to set up on my king size bed and very comfortable. The wires inside are very subtle so it feels like I'm sleeping on something with a quilt pattern. I do cover mine with a flannel sheet for extra coziness and layering. The cords are ridiculously long so don't worry about it reaching an outlet. Very simple but effective device for a timer and heat scale. Timer runs up to 12 hours. In these cold pacific northwest nights, it is absolutely luxurious to preheat the bed and then sink in to all that warmth. Don't know how I lived with a hot water bottle for so long.

We really are enjoying our warm bed to crawl into each night. I especially liked the ease of installing, set-up. Having separate plugs on each side of the pad makes lining the cords along the sides of the bed so much simpler. Others we have had the one plug was in the center at the foot of the bed, making laying the cords much more difficult. Also, the 10 settings is good for my husband who is cold all the time. He gets toasty warm. He gives it the 5 stars. I do too. I'll buy this brand again.
