My old Calphalon 10" inch anodized fry pan is one of my most used in the kitchen, probably 3-4 times a week average, anything fry frying, to sautéing, steaming and boiling. Lasted about 5 years without any issues and even today is still not chipping, but the non stick isn't nearly as great. So I definitely wanted another hard anodized pan. This KitchenAid pan is pretty nice, I've always trust the brand as being reliable and affordable quality. It's a bit thicker metal, soft grip handle, sits flat, doesn't tip over easy, and has good nonstick while being fairly light weight. Only thing I don't like about it is the diameter at 10" inches from outer edge to edge (OD). Seems this measurement is not universal when it come to pans and lid matching. Some pans and lids measure inside diameter (ID) or can even be slightly off. My current glass lids now are slightly too big by about 1/2" an inch diameter, so the pan edges sit inside the lid circumference against the glass instead of along the metal rim. It works, but by not fitting right all the steam and moisture drips to the outside of the pan and onto the stove top. If the lid were a proper fit the steam and moisture would drip back into the pan. Now I have to look for a KitchenAid lid that is exact fit. Hmmm.

Excellent choice if you're looking for quality and value. We're very pleased with this set. Only thing we wish was was included is a lager pan. Years ago the set we just replaced with this purchase, had 3 skillets. So, we're looking for one more purchase here at Amazon.

good quality, easy to clean. These sizes are most frequently used. 1st set lasted about 18 months before they needed to be replaced. Well worth the money.

I recently purchased the KitchenAid Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan/Skillet, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! This skillet has become an essential tool in my kitchen. One of the things I love most about this skillet is its ability to heat evenly. I no longer have to worry about hot spots or uneven cooking. Plus, the fact that it's oven-safe is a game-changer. I've used it to cook everything from stovetop meals to baked dishes with excellent results every time. The nonstick surface is fantastic. I've cooked everything from eggs to delicate fish fillets, and nothing sticks. Cleanup is a breeze, which is a huge time-saver in my busy kitchen.Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the KitchenAid Hard Anodized Nonstick Frying Pan/Skillet. It's durable, versatile, and offers excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and high-quality skillet!
