- Easy way to check your bolts:
- Standard thread - clockwise makes bolt tighter.
- Reverse thread - clockwise makes bolt looser.

Product is good for what it is intended for. I wrapped a towel around the head before I applied pressure to tighten and the finish still was marked up.
