No me sentia seguro de comprarlo al ser un producto de costo elevado y tener ciertas opinones de desconfianza por integrar tecnologia a una cerradura.Actalmente no me arrepiento y me encanta tenerlo. Quisera explicar un poco mejor los puntos positivos y negativosPuntos buenos:- La app funciona sin problemas en Mexico ( lei algunos compentarios que personas tuvieron problemas, no tuve ninguno de este tipo- construccion robusta, mucho mas robusto que la cerradura que tenia antes- Certificado, esta cerradura no puede ser abierta tan facil como otras intelignetes, muchas ceraduras inteligentes su mayor punto debil es el mecanismo tradicional de abrir con llave es inseguro- Abre to casa en un par de segundos no vas a tener que buscar las llavesPuntos negativos:- la deteccion de cuanto le queda de bateria no es buena, pasé de 45% a 0% en unos dias, el 55% del inicio se gastó en 4 meses- La app a veces es un poco lenta

Hola qué compre una cerradura en Amazon el 7 de enero de 2024 de huella digital y ya tiene como una semana que me está fallando tiene 10 meses de uso y ya no detecta ninguna huella digital no podemos abrir la puerta ya cambie las baterías y el problema no se corrige está dentro del periodo de garantía quisiera que me enviaran a un técnico a repararla por favor estoy en Monterrey México mandé un correo a Soectrum brands Latam a ver si me hacen caso les cuento cómo me fue saludos .

Buen equipo, pero la compré porque anuncia instalación básica gratuita, aun con el vendedor Amazon México, no fue incluida.La cambiaré por una schlage.

Installation is one thing but the app is not available in Singapore. Even if I were to download the APK offline, it still requires a non-Singaporean mobile for registration. The only Asian countries that are in the app are India and Vietnam. So for now, I just use the traditional keys.

Our front door lock-side access is tight, and it's a pain to carry a bag in one hand, hold the screen door open and unlock with a key all at the same time. I also didn't want a touch screen or keypad that looked like this was short-term rental rather than a normal welcoming front door. So I wanted a lock with either a fob, or fingerprint reader. This fit the bill.It's handsome, and the case enclosure seems very well made. The bolt itself looks like standard Quickset quality - decent for residential use. Even though I had to install new rather than replacing an existing deadbolt (I had to cut holes in the door and frame) the directions were some of the clearest I've seen recently in any product. The numbered boxes for different parts was very helpful. Setting up the app on my phone was straightforward, as was connection to my wi-fi. The software updated itself upon installation nicely. Pairing the lock mechanism to the app through Bluetooth was a bit glitchy - an error message said I had to rest the lock to factory settings and try again. This requires looking up how to reset online or in the app. But, after doing that it connected and paired correctly. Fingerprint pairing was easy, with an option for using multiple fingers for each user. Nice. I've only used it for 1 day, but my first impression is it installs and works well, although like my phone, if you're a bit off center touching, sometimes you have to touch the reader twice. Don't know over the long run - we'll see.

Just installed this product and went to download the app... It’s not available outside the US & Canada. Crazy!!! Why??? Was so looking forward to replacing my Kevo 2Nd Gen with this model. It's useless without the app... Just a very expensive dead bolt. I tried to contact Kwikset to query the unavailability of the app but the International number doesn't work. I sadly have to return it!

updated 6/3/24: These were pure junk. Terrible software, didn't work when your fingers got a little damp or humid, dismal battery life, constantly needing to be re-setup after they lose their brain. I installed MyQ series which also works with Liftmaster/Chamberlan Garage equipment. Very happy with this. Run from this junkupdated 1/31/24: Had one still installed, I removed and am now using a much more reliable competitor product. Honestly these were an awful product.Update 1/15/22: I removed these today. I must admit after a few firmware updates they got a little more reliable, but usually after about a month it locks up and needs reset or rehanding. But finally on my front door the actuator gave up. Great Idea but awful implementation and Kwikset should be ashamed at fielding such a junky flawed product.Update 3/24/21 - Customer support doesn't respond EVER, so don't waste your time as they are basically useless. And Kwikset if you are reading this, know that I have made my findings about your poor service known to every building group in central florida and will continue to do so. You are an awful company, What I did figure out however finally was that it is likely one of the problems I am having is overheating. The unit is black which makes it absorb more heat and the unit seems to "lock up" when the afternoon sun shines on it. It seems to work after it cools down. (I have started putting a little cardboard cover over it). To get it to reset you always have to pull the battery pack out for a few seconds and then re-insert. Obviously a crappy design.Update 3/14/21 - Still no response other than asking for for information I already provided. Do not waste your money on this product it is from a company which is providing flawed products and won't even respond. My suggestion is, just return this garbage.Update 3/8/21 - After days and days of waiting I finally get a response from kwikset customer response. Useless.Update 3/1/21 - Of the two units I have bought both now have failed. Fingerprint reader locks up after a few reads and becomes unresponsive. I can pull the battery pack out and it temporarily fixes, but will soon fail after a few more reads. Note that I have not had any issues with Wifi or connectivity others have reported and product is reliable from that perspective. But this product obviously has some serious basic reliability or software issues. I've read that they had hardware problems that may have been addressed recently but the manufacturing date on mine were from last september.. But as far as I'm concerned these units, although looking very promising are basically junk. Kwikset should be ashamed at selling this kind of junk.Update... 2/28/21 - Other unit that was working ok, behaving badly. For some reason the fingerprint reader just stops working randomly. No response. usually pulling battery case out for a couple of minutes apparently resets it and it works again for a while.I have mixed feelings about this product. I mostly like it, but it has reliability problems. I also had one of the units with out of box failures, so they definitely have QA problems.The good:-Pretty easy to install and replace an existing deadbolt. That is usually when it goes well.-Fingerprint read is quickThe Ugly:- The app sucks.. There is no dashboard so that when you have several of these in your house you can quickly assess lock status of all your doors. It seems not to have been designed with any concept of whole house automation. Also you have to enter your fingerprints for each user on each lock. You would think they would be able to share fingerprint data. So I have 6 of these things and have to go to each one with each family member to enter. Really stupid.- The Wifi integration is lousy.. Constantly falling off of Wifi and and gives offline status.- Reliability is poor. I've had two units that were bad right out of the box.- Customer support.. SUCKS.
