Work well for holding rods for tightlining (catfish) and trolling for crappie. Wouldnt be strong enough to troll for big fish but work well for crappie. Clamps are stronger than i anticipated.

This 6 pack of rod holders is great. I installed a couple in my canoe, jon boat and kayak. It's much better then laying my rod down along side me like I had been doing while paddling to a new spot. They do a good job keeping my poles out of the water and out of the way.

Very well made! Not nearly as flimsy as most rod holders. Materials are heavy duty. SUrprisingly good stuff. These are very good rod holders and and amazing deal for the cost. I would definitely buy them agian.
