Tried the TX mode connected Samsung TV with optical outputs. Paired with Airpods Pro (second generation). TV sound from TV speakers as well as Sony sound bar is perfect, sound over this Bluetooth device is garbled and almost unintelligible. Sounds like some alien race is speaking. Also does not remember paired device, have to re-pair every time unlike what the manual claims. This is my second Bluetooth device from Amazon I have to send back. First one was dead on arrival. Pretty much through with Amazon cheap products most likely not even factory tested before shipping.

I got this to mostly connect to my TV with the Tx mode enabled. It's able to accomplish this just fine but the biggest problem is that it has a nasty hum with any USB power source I provide to it. This is with a variety of power sources both wall and battery type. By self the battery does seem to last a while so perhaps not too big of a problem.As for connectivity it does provide a wide range of uses. I was only able to use the RCA standard aux/analog audio as I don't have coax or optical. There is a slight delay when in Tx mode and sync with the TV which is somewhat annoying. This could be made better or worse with different BT devices, though I'd like to think I have quality ones especially since they are marked AptX.In Rx mode my devices are able to see if an connect quickly as "M13".The display is informative on what mode is selected along with LED indicators on the front. The large button on the top is the power on/off combined with play/pause if desired to use the USB audio function. As for the reactive light it has those can be disabled to save battery but the other lights and in/out mode are always on. I.E. 'LINE" is always displayedThe colors of the side bars are fun but mostly useless for my case. This might be good for something that's on a desk, but for an AV system that's on a shelf/etc goes unnoticed.
