I love the idea of this and esthetically it hits the mark. The vintage look is great and it's sure to catch the attention of anyone who sees it. Unfortunately, in my case, I've experienced some issues with an ocxasional buzzing sound while using the Bluetooth function and also some difficulty with charging. The sound quality is average and one other thing worth noting is that the Bluetooth function is labeled as auxillary which is not a big deal, but it's a little odd.

The first thing I noticed about this radio was how light it was. The plastic housing is quite thin and seems like it would shatter if dropped at counter-top height. The top volume knob and AM/FM/SW knob feel quite cheap as well. The front facing tuning dial is nice. I like its large size and how quick that makes tuning to the station I want. The speaker sounds OK and matches the quality of the rest of the components.Overall, a mediocre radio that has a very cheap feel to it. I gave it 3 stars because there is nothing that speaks quality or special about this that makes it above average - except maybe the retro look.

Not a bad little radio, but not a stellar performer. It picks up AM and FM bands decently with average selectivity and good sensitivity. The SW band seems to be an after thought and if you are not where there are strong stations, you probably won't need this. The tuning, especially on SW, is very touchy and takes a steady hand. One thing that needs improvement is the bandswitch on the top. It does not have a pointer to show you which band you are on, so it would be a good idea to take a marker and put a pointer mark on the knob. The sound is good for a small basic mono radio and if you mainly use this for AM/FM, you won't be disappointed. The dual battery (rechargeable and D cell) option is very nice for use in camping and portable use. I didn't use the usb or TF card option, but it could be handy for some people. The size and shape look like a 60s/70s style radio and is kind of neat. Reminds me of ones we had when a I was a kid.

If you are looking for a good old-fashioned radio, this is it. It brings back memories of dialing around to find a station and adjusting the antenna to get better reception. It even uses regular batteries, but does include the option to charge via USB. Radios like this do rely on location for good reception, so you may not pick up tons of stations, but I've had really good success. I live in a small town where power outages are common during storms, so this radio could mean the difference between silence and at least some form of entertainment or access to news. The retro design is beautiful. I didn't even realize radios like this were still made, so for those of us who appreciate a classic, this is a fun one.

I was looking for a basic old-school radio and this one caught my eye. I love the retro style, and it looks cute on display. It's easily portable too, as it can be recharged with the included USB cord or run on old-fashioned batteries. It's two features that I love are the bluetooth speaker and transistor radio with the big round dial. I think the reception is good, especially with the antenna extended. One thing I noticed was that the numbers are a bit off, as in station 94.9 will actually be at 97 on this radio dial. The speaker sounds great, and I often just use it with my phone's music and radio apps. Would recommend!

The two key features of a radio are quality of reception and quality of sound. This unit has mediocre reception and worse sound. About all we can use it for is listening to talk shows on a public radio, when we can get public radio to come in. A more hi-fi solution would be more enjoyable x

More of a novelty than anything else. Sounds? Well not good. Build quality sub par. Only thing going for this speaker is its retro look.

I thought this was the cutest thing when I saw it. But, it's really functional as well. It catches AM & FM stations, connects to your Bluetooth to function as a speaker, and also plays SD cards you slide into it (with controls to skip backward or forward). There's a USB port so I think it connects to either your computer or phone, but I haven't used that yet.The battery lasts for a long time, too.The only thing is that the dial to change stations is about 4-5 stations back, but that's a small flaw
