Very disappointed, spend this much on a valve that cannot be used unless you spend another $30.00. For a cartridge.

This valve does not include the internal workings which is essential to make it work. 30 day window for returns and your stuck with it.

The item description does not show the fact that there is NO cartridge included. The e-manuals attached to the product is vague and has no relation to the product listed here. Seller should highlight the fact that cartridge is NOT included, price for the valve is high.

Came empty without a cartridge. Since when a piece of brass costs 55$?!! Why its not reflected in the description?

It’s early days for this valve still (Oct. ‘22) but I found that Moen changed the O-ring that comes on the balancing puck (the middle part of the 3 piece cartridge. Moen has always been good about sending cartridges out. Key is properly lubing ALL the mating surface gaskets/o-rings and I expect this updated, and seemingly the one that should have been in the original trim kits, O-Ring will resolve the main leakage issues I’m reading about. Also have to lube the inner bore of the valve body and when installing the bonnet but turn 180 degrees past hand tight.

This is the cheapest 2 axis valve on the market, with independent control of temperature and pressure. However, the cartridge is NOT included in this valve and comes with the trim. The seller should highlight this fact-- or include the cartridge with the valve.

What can go wrong with a three piece shower valve. Lol. Back to the drawing board.
