The ad is extremely misleading. I was under the impression that this was a 2 bowl set with lids..boy was i wrong!

I ordered one and liked it so much that I ordered a second one. The size is perfect for feeding 4. They clean up well and I have not had any difficulty removing food. I don't use a microwave very much. However I put these in the oven all the time. They do not take up too much room in the refrigerator and with the lid turned upside down, you can stack on top of it. The casserole dishes are pretty and I love seeing layers of food in them. I highly recommend these casserole dishes. I love having a lid that fits - no more using Reynolds Wrap!

I had been struggling to make smaller dishes work since I already had them. I am so glad that I finally got a larger size, they work perfectly!

This review is for the Shinyeagle Oval Casserole Dish with Lid: Casserole Dishes for Oven.When I open the box, my first thought was, “This is a nice size!” I ordered the larger of the two, the 2.8 L, which is almost 3 Qts. I needed a dish large enough to take for covered dish meals. This will work well and not be too heavy to carry when full. It can go from refrigerator to oven but do not put it under a broiler. It’s rated to 400°F.At first glance, I thought the lid was cracked near the knob (see pics). Upon closer inspection, I think what I am seeing is simply the seam from the mold used in the making of the casserole dish. The seam is clearly visible on the underside of the knob on the lid, but I could feel nothing when I ran my finger and fingernails over the spot -both inside and out- so I do NOT think it was cracked at all.I like that the lid inverts for storage-so the knob on the lid is protected and I can set a smaller casserole dish atop this one in the cabinet.

Glass is nice and thick; this casserole dish has some weight to it. I like how it has handles and a ribbed exterior for secure handling when removing the hot dish from the oven. It really is a nice casserole dish; unfortunately the description stated this was for a set of 2 and I only received one dish with lid.
