I like that this particular burner has a longer hose than others I looked at- I like the igniter that is not a striker but rather is built in - great buy!

This propane torch is excellent. Very easy to use and assemble and also came with its own bag for storage and transporting. I used this to eradicate some pesky weeds but I am sure it would do great starting a fire as well. The hose is long enough to keep the propane tank away while using it which is well thought out. Every man needs one of these in his garage!

This propane torch is an absolute beast. With 1,800,000 BTUs, it makes quick work of weeding, roofing, or melting tasks. The turbo trigger and long hose provide excellent control and reach, while the sturdy construction ensures it will last for years. A top-notch tool for anyone tackling demanding outdoor projects.

This weed burning tool has a nice long hose. If you are carrying your tank the hose allows free movement which is important. I did find the hose gets stiff in the cold weather. This is not ideal for ease of use. The flame control is good and I did not have issues with the flame going out. The ignition works well, that seem to be a problem with others I have used. One other thing I will mention is I am 5 foot 9 inches tall and the wand length is a little short. This appears to be normal for these burners but it would be nice to add about 4 inches to the overall length.

Love this thing! I had previously gotten one of the smaller weed burners from the name brand, and while it's good, weeds are a lot harder to burn to a crisp than I would expect. That thing has a flame similar to a kitchen torch (which is good enough for most things) and it struggled to eliminate weeds. So I got this big fella, and the flame is MUCH bigger, and it roasts weeds into oblivion. The only downside to this for me is also an upside--that it uses a propane tank. This means it lasts a lot longer than it would with a small camp-sized bottle, and it looks pretty sick with such a huge tank, but it also means that you have to lug around a huge propane tank and move it around if you need to reach beyond the reach of the tube, as it obviously doesn't attach to the flamethrower. And for me it meant I had to buy a propane tank... So that was an expense. But if you have one, this thing is amazing!

This is perfect for all projects. If you are needing to remove weeds from your lawn, this torch works wonderfully. You can use this on different roofing projects. This is a inexpensive propane torch that connects to any propane cylinder, The gas flow is adjustable. This is a must have for anyone needing a torch.

This torch assembles easily and breaks down into about 18" long pieces for easy storage. It fits 20lb propane tanks, and has an adjustable flame, a built-in ignitor, and a trigger for "large flame" vs. smaller flame. I found it easy to use, easy to store, and very effective. It is also quite loud, sounds like a hot air balloon burner warming up when you hit the large flame (not surprising) but very effective for deicing, weed and brush burning, and similar. It assembles and disassembles easily, a wrench or a pair of pliers is helpful but takes very little effort to have it fully assembled, and the 10' hose gives you plenty of reach to get to an area in between having to move the propane tank.
