I wasted alot of money on parts and it ended up being low freon, wish i would have known that seeing ice only on the top part of the coil ment it was low on freon. took about two ounces and now working great. don know how quickly it will leak out but i have uv dye ready if i have to refill agin and find the leak.

I purchased this to recharge my AC in my wine cooler, and it worked just as expected. Unfortunately my wine cooler needs a thermostat.

I used this kit and a can of R134a to add refrigerant to non cooling RV refrigerator freezer. I weighed in .98 oz, using kitchen scale, and the fridge is working like new again. If you don’t know what you are doing your success rate will be nearly 0.

Bought this to recharge a small fridge running 134a. It worked just like it should. The piercing valve did not leak 1 bit. The gauge seemed accurate and also has a vacuum scale to monitor evac. The only mistake I made was not using a scale to measure the liquid going in. The fridge still worked. One other thing: make sure to have the fridge running when recharging. Also, watch some videos of others doing it. Definitely recommend it.

Used once so far. Be careful not to drop the gauge, super fragile plastic.
