if you own a mopars you’re better off trying something else it’s too tedious to install & steady kill switching your battery isn’t it, the computer resetting too much sucks

Product works as suggested, I can kill the switch from around 50 yards way, I haven't tested any further.I urge you to read the instructions or your gonna fry your device and other electrical components faster than a speeding bullet!That Big blue box, yes that one that's huge with the 2 doohickeys on it!Now I know most of you know this, but that big blue breaker goes on the NEGATIVE side, one red wire crosses over and hooks to the positive side and attachment on the bolt.

THis battery kill switch is really hand if you own a land rover with persistently leaky wires (it's a lucas joke)... Seriously though, if you want to completely disconnect your battery from your main load circuits... this is your tool to do it.The problem I have with this is that it's a little flimsy..well okay, a LOT flimsy. But damn if it doesn't work well. The remote is handy; no more popping the hood all the time to unhook the battery.While the quality is ...questionable, I cannot deny the functionality of the cut-off. You have drop below 12.9 volts for it to work, so if you try to turn it off while your engine is running (assuming the charging system is working properly) this unit will not activate. If you have a high float voltage the you may need tap the breaks, hit the lights, or flick the HVAC on.. this will typically cause enough draw to drop your car's voltage below that 12.9v number.3 stars: Recommended with the "flimsy caveat".

I recently installed a Kill Switch/Battery Disconnect Switch on my SUV that was experiencing a phantom drain. It has appeared to fix the problem of the battery going dead. This device allows me to disconnect the battery quickly with a remote control and a failsafe cutoff at 11.8 volts, even if you forget to press the remote to disconnect the battery.The installation process was straightforward by attaching just the negative side between the car and battery and another wire to the positive terminal. It is very easy. It’s compatible with any 12 volt battery vehicle, and the compact design fits neatly under the hood without interfering with other components. A side effect is that when the disconnect is engaged the car is much harder to steal.This Kill Switch is a highly practical and reliable solution for anyone looking to enhance vehicle security and maintain battery health. Highly recommended!
