They work well as you can see I still have my e-bike people have tried stealing it so I have a suggest you get a reliable lock like this.

With the advent of battery operated grinders there is no fool proof way of securing anything. So no matter what locking system you use it can be stolen. This lock like I said will keep an amateur away if you bike is old and beat up it might work. I’m just going to use it to lock my helmet to the bike. It comes with a neat holster that you can lock on to your bike frame. I just have to hope the neighborhood thief doesn’t have a nut splitter or I’ll need a new helmet

It's ok for the price, but I have to be honest and say I don't have the utmost confidence in it. That being said, it's relatively small and lightweight, so I keep it in my rear rack bag and am using this as a secondary lock. I have a heavy chain lock that I use to secure my ebike to a solid structure, and then I'm using this as a second. I've primarily been using this around the down tube and through the front tire. I'm hoping that if a thief sees they have two locks they have to circumvent, they will look for a different opportunity. I'm not one to leave my bike out of sight very long, but you never know what can happen when you're in a store.If a thief has the proper tools and is determined, there probably isn't a lock out there that could keep them from getting your bike. But I do like this lock and its flexibility, but I just don't believe it's the best option if you only have one lock.
