Serious Steel Fitness Olympic 8" Adapter Sleeve
Turn your 1" standard barbell or weight post into a 2" Olympic bar or weight post. Great for older style barbells, curl bars and plate loaded weight machines.
- Includes 1 allen key to tighten and loosen the metal hex nut.
- Made from heavy-duty nylon with a steel hex bolt.
- End cap is REMOVABLE for use with longer 1" standard posts!
Tip: Use Barbell Collars as weight stopper to keep your plates exactly where you want them and to ensure they do not slip off when you are training.
- The Removable Cap allows the sleeve to still be compatible with even those extra long 1" posts or sleeves.
Steel Fastener
Our Serious Steel Adapter Sleeves include a Steel Fastener for added durability. Our sleeves were designed specifically with a steel fastener to help prevent stripping and keep them working in your gym for year after year. Please still refrain from overtightening.
Heavy-Duty Nylon
Constructed of Heavy-Duty Nylon our sleeves are made for maximum strength. They will hold up against 45lb Plates and your daily training regimen.
Removable Cap
Our Adapter Sleeves come with a Removable Cap. This is a necessary feature that allows the sleeve to still be compatible with even those extra long 1" posts.

They are OK for a rack holder but a regular weight machine like a leg raise or lat pull down NO! Look for one without the caps.

Great product. I was skeptical because it was plastic but I’ve put about 100lbs on it for leg extensions and no problems whatsoever m. I’ve been using it about 3 months still going strong. Definitely worth the money

What can I say? It does its job. I'm satisfied with the product. Only gave it 4 stars because it seems kind of pricey for what it is-but that's the new reality for home gym equipment these days.

It accomplishes the bare minimum of converting from 1inch to 2inch yet nothing more. Every time I slide a weight off of these adapters the end caps pop off and go rolling around. Does it’s job but annoys me when I have to pick up the end caps. Possible solution would be to either super glue them in or just don’t use them

So I bought these to go over 1" weight posts that were attached to a lat machine. They tighten down easily with a small allen wrench that locks it to the 1" posts. A couple of wrenches come with them and its literally a simple 2 minute job. For those with 2" weights, these are a must in my opinion. I use mine with a home gym, but you can take them anywhere. Great product, a must have for those tossing around weights.
