Direct replacement. Easy install. Would have been 5 star except for the fact it has 4 holes all around so had to line it up just right to keep holes from catching rainwater.

As someone else noted there are vent holes all the way around rendering this useless. When it rains it will just rain into the vent tube. Surprisingly well made but still useless.

I should have looked at the photos better. This fitting has vent holes all the way around so it will always drain rain water into your fuel tank...not certain how or where the manufacture intends it to be used but don't see how it can be used on boats that are used any where it rains or not covered. To verify this i tested it in the sink and sure enough water poured directly down the fitting if sprinkled on the top.

So much better than the crappy Perko thin OEM vent. Half the price to. Installed two of these on a customer boat. He looked at the Quality and tried to get me to replace all the others unnecessarily. I don't have time to do unnecessary stuff so we'll wait till it's required.
