Side-post battery disconnects have always been a frustration point for me. I’ve tried several over the years, but I’ve never found one I truly felt comfortable using—until now.These are the first side-post quick disconnects I’ve installed that actually feel like the real deal. Solid construction, intuitive design, and a reassuringly snug fit. You can tell immediately whether you’re connected or not—no guesswork, no flimsy parts, no wondering if it actually isolated the circuit.As someone who maintains a collection of over 80 vehicles—and installs battery disconnects on everything made before 1996—this is the first time I’ve been confident enough in a side-post unit to start switching my fleet over.We ran a Fluke multimeter to verify there’s no parasitic loss, and these passed with flying colors. Proper isolation, clean function, and they look like quality gear.I’ll be replacing all my side-post setups with these over the coming months. Highly recommended if you’ve been burned by cheap or unreliable options in the past.

Seems to work adequately. Easy to install, when bolt is removed hole fits on Rv battery screws. Clear marks for on and disconnected. Post seemed a little loose when in off position but seems to work fine.

I use this as a battery disconnect on my new 200AH lithium setup for my fishing boat.The switch is solid, installation is clean as the bottom is flat. Seems like a high quality switch with a clear click-into-place sound so you know you are on or off. Markings are clear so there is also no question there.Make sure you pay attention to the terminals here. This is for screw-in type terminals, not posts.

Not exactly what I was looking for with my truck but it does seem to be pretty durable. The terminals just won't fit for what I need which is unfortunate but not a product defect. I'll try to use on a different application, where it may be better suited. If it fits your terminals, I'd say it seems like a good deal!

Used this to disconnect our lawnmower's battery when we aren't using it. Install was fine but the switch itself doesn't really have very firm/hard detents for the on/off positions. Time will tell on durability. Does the job though.

I picked up this battery disconnect for a camper van electrical system build we're doing. The disconnect will serve as the primary shut off for our 300 AH lithium battery system. I like that the terminal bolts are offset from the switch knobs which makes installation easier. The switch functioned well, but required two modifications to allow for mounting. The switch is meant to be surface mounted, but has no screw/bolt holes to allow for mounting. With that, I drilled a couple of holes through the unit through 2 of the 4 back plate mounting screw locations. The second problem with the design is that electrical connection side plates are nearly flush with the bottom of the switch. So when the lugs are connected and tightened the back of the bolts push past the back of the switch. This will either interfere with mounting the switch or will interface with tightening the lugs. I solved this issue by installing a few washers to take up the slack.

Perfect disconnect for turning off/disconnecting my solar battery bank. I use ecoworthy LiFePO4 batteries and I wanted a way to have the leads ‘off’ when I connect them to my bus bar. This does the trick and also allows me to just turn the whole system off. Bolts on this are slightly larger but just used the bolts from the battery to tighten down. It works great and super handy.

Seems well built and will serve it's purpose. The only negative I see is it's a tad stiff to turn the knob. This could be seen as a Pro by some as it cannot be switched by accidently bumping into it. .
