Barbell exercises are a form of resistance training. Resistance training is using your muscles to move resistance, usually weights. Examples of barbell resistance training are squats, bench press, barbell row, shoulder press, deadlifts and curls to name a few. Barbells allow you to move more weight than you could with a dumbbell because you have two hands on a fixed object. This makes it safer to learn new exercises.

A weight slipped off the side and broke off the treads of the screw. A barbell shouldn't do that AT ALL!!

I am not sure how long this item will be available at $59.30, but I have never received an item and immediately gone straight to the feedback section. With the price being one of the lowest out there, with a product that has free shipping and was delivered to me in under 24 hours... WOW! Opened it up, slapped some weight on it and took it for a test drive. This Barbell is HEAVY and well built. It also came with 2 plate clamps. Great packaging that was intact and had covers at the end to keep the ends from getting dinged up. Highly recommended!

Nothing exeptional, but do the job. Real 45lbs.Packaging was awful. The bar has a lot of blemishes and scratches, but for 85$ it is ok. If price is higher, there's better deal.

The black color looks cool but can’t recommend it because mine arrived with chipped paint. Chrome would be better.
