Connected to left side - nothing.- black and yellow wires were in wrong position...or the controller's not sure which (not a KT brand controller) - cut and switched the black and yellow (ground & signal) wires -Tested again: works but only if pedaling backwards. - that's a magnet/hall sensor issue, not wiring- swapped the sensor assy over to the right side of crank....worked.but even still, there is sometimes a long delay before assist kicks in - so maybe thats because im not using a KT controller - they aren't "speaking" to each other perfectly but it works good enough now. At least the part was a lot cheaper than the factory ebike part.

This part fit my Ecotric Dolphin fat tire electric bike. The electric motor kept cutting out. Replaced this pedal assist sensor and my bike works like new. Also had to order a special tool to remove pedal crank. You Tube is our friend.
