I was ecstatic to catch this smash burger press kit because burgers are one of my favorite foods. I love a good hand pattied burger just because I can mold it how I like, but this kit makes it just a little more easier and less messy. Also, it makes the perfect size burgers. I like the 3-in-1 because, while I'm not a fan of sliders, I want to get better acquainted with them and perhaps making them myself will change my opinion about tiny burgers, as it stands my mind is like, just why?The set is well made with top grade, durable, and easy to use components. Grateful for the spatulas, really needed those, over the rubber ones. The dome will be especially useful for the grill, as most of my indoor skillets come with a lid. Overall, I'm really impressed with the kit, I think its at great price point for everything you get. The set is really easy to clean as well, however for the burger weight be sure to season it (rub it down with olive oil) so it will not rust.

Much easier to make the smash bugers than my older way of parchmant paper and a mason jar. This kit includes everything you would want or need to making your burgers perfect evertime right on your flat top. The different tools are all well built and heavy duty. I have put mine through the dishwasher to clean them without any problems. For the money you can't beat this set, even if you only use some of it.

It took a while to get this product. But nonetheless, I was happy when it first arrived as I couldn't wait to use it. Being someone that always shaped their burgers by hand and none of them looked like they came from the same batch of ground meat, I was pleased that I could evenly distributed the meat and shaped them to be identical by using the burger mold. The mold by the way is made of plastic, which was a bit of a surprise. Cleaning the mold was quick and simple. I didn't get an opportunity to use the burger press, the spatula, or the cover, however, the all appear to be of good quality.

Every once in a while I get something that I thought I would like. In reality I love it and wonder why I waited so long to get one for myself. This kit is one of those items. We cooked incredibly delicious smashed burgers on our Blackstone Griddle in no time. My girlfriend did her best Sam Jackson impression of mmmmm, this is a tasty burger after her first bite. Figuring everything out was simple, after a few minutes of playing with all the pieces we saw what we were doing. The patty maker is easy to use and creates a consistency of burger size and shape that can be tricky to attain at home. The consistency of size makes it easier to get the exact level of cooked meat you are looking for. The actual cast iron smash press is well made and a good weight. The stainless steel dome is solid. The spatula and scraper are fairly heavy duty as well. All in all I have no complaints other than perhaps there could be better instructions.

I was really interested in this for making patties and freezing them. Looking at the specs, I saw that the specs indicated that you got 3 sizes for making patties, but looking at the seller picture it was not completely clear what the sizes actually were...so I measured. The large is NOT 4.9 inches. That size is if you measure the base, not the area that makes the patty. The patty size is about 3.9 inches. The medium size is actually just a smidge smaller than that, about 3.7. For the small, 2.6 is about correct.A standard size patty is usually about 4 inches and the larger ones, maybe 5 to 6 inches, so, if you thought about shaping a bunch of large ones, you'll still have to do it by hand. So, it is disappointing that there are really not three different patty sizes to pick from.Obviously, to make a smash burger, the heavy iron press you get is perfect and I think you could also use it to flatten bacon, keeping it from curling when cooking.Next, the spatulas seem a bit sharp. I would be cautious using these with any of your skillets that have a non-stick coating or ceramic as they probably will scratch the finish. For on the grill, they work great. Then, there's the dome. Supposedly, this will seal in heat and juices, help with melting cheese, or steaming veggies. I'm not sure about the steaming veggies part, but I can see it keeping things warm or helping to melt cheese. It doesn't seem as necessary as the other pieces.I thought the parchment squares that they included (50 of them) were possibly for separating burgers that you were freezing. Well, the seller picture shows them being used as a barrier between the iron press and the actual burger. Once you smash it down, you simply remove the parchment piece. I'm thinking you can cut your own or maybe just use wax paper or foil for the smashing. You can use parchment, but it tends to be a bit more expensive than the other options.I'm not entirely disappointed with the set, but it would have been nice if there actually were 3 different patty maker sizes rather than just 2. Clearly, the seller text says 3, and if you look at the picture where the patty maker has been used, you do see 3 burger sizes at the top, 2 of which are almost identical in size. Underneath, there is only a picture of 2, so I think they are aware that 2 of the sizes are about the same.An ok set, but inaccurately pictured and described.

I ordered the #Gamalou Smash Burger press kit so that I can make the classic smash burger on my griddle. The kit comes complete with a cast iron burger press, a large round dome for melting cheese, a multi-purpose burger patty maker, a spatula and a scraper. The patty maker helps with making consistent burgers and even making stuffed burgers. It was a bit confusing at first as there are no directions included. But it was easy to figure out. The cast iron burger press is made of a heavy cast iron with a comfortable handle. There's a non-stick coating which keeps the patty from sticking after it's been "squashed" flat. The large dome helps with melting cheese for those delicious cheeseburgers. The spatula has bevelled edges which helps lifting the patty's and keeping those carmalized edges of a smash burger in tact. When you're all done, the scraper helps keep your griddle clean.I'm very pleased with the quality of the included items and this kit is an excellent value.
