Nice compact item in design. I love that it's 2-in-1 for smoke and carbon monoxide so it has great functionality. Extremely fast shipping. Came nicely packaged. The only reason for the 3 stars is because it's advertised as white and the photo shows a nice bright white item but that is not what was received so it doesn't exactly go with my decor now (looks white in the photo because of the lighting). I was expecting a bright white or even a white item for that matter but instead received the item in what I would consider a light almond. Takes a 9v battery that's not included. Affordable. Extremely easy to install.

This detector is smaller than most units sold, and I like that! It seems to work as it should, and set up was easy. It has an actual LCD for the display of codes, and a blue backlight makes it very easy to read. This seems to be a good value!One note, the green light that flashes to let you know that it is working is very bright in the dark. I suggest NOT mounting this detector in any room where people will be sleeping, or even near a entryway to a bedroom.

Seems a little too light, like it doesn’t have much going on, yet it has very impressive specifications & functionality. I have to question the accuracy of a product at such a low price, I have been using combination smoke & carbon monoxide detectors for years and never found on in this price range. Just pop in a 9V battery (not included) and you’re all set, it goes through a countdown on the display in PPM of contaminants detected. Can be mounted on ceiling (horizontal) or on a wall (vertical) and I put it just over the door to the garage, I have other detectors in other areas of the house. Flashes a RED led periodically to show it is working, good buy.

The SHYEEH Smoke/CO Detector’s package included two screws and anchors for placement on a wall or ceiling – I just placed the detector on the top of my refrigerator – but did not include the 9V battery required for operation. Once I installed the 9V battery into the detector, a 32 second countdown displayed on the LCD display, followed by a consecutive flash from the green power light – flashed approximately every 35 seconds. The display was blank at all other times and a press of the test button simply displayed 000 parts per million (PPM) – a CO2 concentration of 000 ppm, and that was a good outcome.The SHYEEH device’s plastic casing was sturdy, and I appreciated the twist on and off instructional diagram on the front panel for ease of battery installation. I can only presume that in the case of detectable smoke and/or notable CO levels, this device’s alarm will trigger the 3-beep alarm warning as indicative of the beep pattern heard during my test of this device.

This 2-in-1 smoke and carbon monoxide detector is one device I hope to never need but gives me peace of mind knowing it's there in the event of an emergency. The alarm is loud when tested. It does require a 9v battery that was not included. Also make sure to read the instructions on where not to place it. Overall it's a nice, small detector that's easy to use and helps me rest assured my family will be safer.

I have one of these, different brand, in my camper already. The goal was to have one in front and one in back. You can't be too careful so I also have a propane detector near the floor. This co/smoke detector is my favorite due to the fact that it has its own battery, no drain on the system batteries and it also detects smoke. I don't think my other one does. I believe these are absolutely necessary and could save your life.
